Caminando al parque

We took a walk to the park at the end of Grandma Gina's street the other afternoon. La Plaza Nunoa is a happening little place with families and their kids at the playground, kids playing soccer and of course, lots of dogs just hanging out. Chile has a lot of playgrounds, practically on every other block. I guess playgrounds in Chile are like Starbucks in the US. We also passed by a few couples having a good ol' time in the park (if you know what I mean). We looked at each other, made faces and laughed. I guess after 20-years together, 'PDA' (public display of affection) is not really our bag.

We stopped at a cute little kiosk selling fresh flowers. We wanted to get a bunch for Grandma Gina but the lady working there suggested we come back the next day as she was getting a whole new delivery of fresh flowers. Since it was the middle of the day, it was blazing hot so we walked back to Grandma's house to get out of the sun.
