Our uncle and cousin, Tio Jorge and Jorge Luis, picked us up yesterday to take us to visit Tia Ely. Everyone said I look like the same girl they saw marry Rod so many years ago, no he cambiado (haven't changed). They didn't say the same about Rod though (LOL!) Tia Ely also looks exactly the same, she still has the biggest smile ever!Jorge Luis brought out a photo album of the pictures they took at our wedding. They even had pictures from our honeymoon!
We took a tour of the house and they showed us the film studio they had built behind their house. It's a huge space with a big green screen, separate office, dressing and make-up area. There's also a detached kitc
hen area for catering services - they rent this space out to people filming either commercials or TV shows. Before the film studio, it was a basketb
all court. Way cool.Jorge Luis took us to Domenico's which is a quaint rustic place for artisans to sell their crafts. We bought some authentic Chilean ceramic dishes - these are used by all Chilean households. There is also a big church on the grounds where we took a quick walk through the garden.
