Perros, perros y mas perros!

There are stray dogs everywhere in Chile. Everywhere you look, dogs are walking around, just loose, like they´ve got somewhere to go or laying around like they own the place. The funny thing is much of the strays are really nice looking dogs - german shephards, rottweilers, all kinds. You´d think with all the strays around there would be crap everywhere but we have not seen a pile of poop anywhere. Don´t know where it all goes. Since there are so many dogs running around, each house has a suspended trash bin in front of their house so the dogs can´t get into the bags and make a mess.

At night, the barking is pretty much a pain in the butt. The first day, Dad warned us about the barking, but I guess we were so tired, we weren´t bothered by it until last night. The barking dog though, seems to live a couple houses away from the apartment building.ast night. That @#$&% dog barked all night-el perro no sabe a cayarse (That dog doesn´t know how to shut up)!

Rod (the dog lover) told me today, no more pictures of dogs so this will be the one and only post about the dog situation. One last thing, when we took Grandma Gina to the clinic this afternoon, someone posted a flyer outside the clinic offering a reward for their lost dog (we thought that was kind of funny).
